निरुच्छवासो5 भवच्चैव संनिरुद्धों महात्मना । पपात भूम्यां निश्चेष्टो गतसत्त्व इवाभवत्,महात्मा भगवान् शंकरके द्वारा भलीभाँति नियन्त्रित हो जानेके कारण अर्जुनकी श्वासक्रिया बंद हो गयी। वे निष्प्राणकी भाँति चेष्टाहीन होकर पृथ्वीपर गिर पड़े

মহাত্মা ভগৱান শংকৰে সম্পূৰ্ণৰূপে নিয়ন্ত্ৰণ কৰাত অৰ্জুনৰ শ্বাস-প্ৰশ্বাস থমকি গ’ল; তেওঁ প্ৰাণহীন যেন, নি:চেষ্ট হৈ ভূমিত পৰি গ’ল।
