आकाशं तदपानीयं घोरं कान्तारदर्शनम् । न तत्र वृक्षच्छाया वा पानीयं केतनानि च
ākāśaṃ tadapānīyaṃ ghoraṃ kāntāradarśanam | na tatra vṛkṣacchāyā vā pānīyaṃ ketanāni ca ||
“সেই অঞ্চল জলশূন্য, আকাশৰ দৰে শূন্য; দৰ্শনত ভয়ংকৰ কান্তাৰ-প্ৰান্তৰ। তাত গছৰ ছাঁ নাই, পানীয় জল নাই, আৰু কোনো বাসস্থান বা আশ্ৰয়ো নাই।”
