कूटशाल्मलिकं चापि दुःस्पर्श तीक्ष्णकण्टकम् । ददर्श चापि कौन्तेयो यातना: पापकर्मिणाम्
kūṭaśālmalikaṃ cāpi duḥsparśa-tīkṣṇa-kaṇṭakam | dadarśa cāpi kaunteyo yātanāḥ pāpa-karmiṇām ||
বৈশম্পায়নে ক’লে—কৌন্তেয়নে কূট-শাল্মলী গছো দেখিলে, যিবোৰ স্পৰ্শ কৰাই দুষ্কৰ আৰু তীক্ষ্ণ কাঁটাৰে ভৰা; লগতে তাত পাপকর্মীসকলক দিয়া কঠোৰ যাতনাও তেওঁ দেখিলে।
