युधिछिर उवाच
Worldly encounters and separations are not ultimately permanent or fully self-directed; they arise as the wheel of saṁsāra turns, with beings meeting one another under the momentum of karma (kāryavān). This supports an ethical stance of restraint, humility, and non-attachment while still acting according to dharma.
Yudhiṣṭhira reflects on the nature of worldly life: as the cycle of existence keeps revolving, groups of beings repeatedly come into contact with other beings due to the compulsion of actions and consequences. The statement frames human relationships and events within a broader moral-cosmic order.
