तुलाधार उवाच
The verse sets an ethical and pedagogical tone: the speaker claims clear foreknowledge and then calls for attentive listening, emphasizing receptivity and disciplined hearing as prerequisites for dharma-instruction.
Tulādhāra addresses a Brahmin visitor, stating that the visitor’s arrival was already known to him and inviting him to listen carefully to the forthcoming discourse.
