Adhyāya 2: Nārada’s Disclosure—Karṇa’s Training and the Brahmin’s Curse (Śānti-parva)
तदज्ञानकृतं मत्वा ब्राह्मणाय न्यवेदयत् । कर्ण: प्रसादयंश्वैनमिदमित्यब्रवीद् वच:,अनजानमें यह अपराध बन गया है, ऐसा समझकर कर्णने ब्राह्मणको सारा हाल बता दिया और उसे प्रसन्न करते हुए इस प्रकार कहा--
tad ajñāna-kṛtaṁ matvā brāhmaṇāya nyavedayat | karṇaḥ prasādayaṁś cainam idam ity abravīd vacaḥ ||
এই অপৰাধ অজ্ঞতাবশত ঘটিছে বুলি ভাবি কৰ্ণে ব্ৰাহ্মণক সকলো কথা জনালে। তেওঁক প্ৰসন্ন কৰিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰি কৰ্ণে এইদৰে ক’লে।
