Duryodhana-śibira-praveśaḥ — The Pāṇḍavas Enter the Kaurava Camp; The Burning of Arjuna’s Chariot
kṛtavān asya akāryāṇi vipākas tasya bhujyatām
The verse teaches karmic accountability: actions opposed to dharma (akārya) inevitably ripen into consequences (vipāka), and the doer must personally endure them rather than evade responsibility.
Vāyudeva speaks a moral verdict, declaring that the person addressed has performed improper deeds and must now undergo the matured results of those actions—an admonition framed as an unavoidable ethical and karmic outcome.
