अन्यदादत्त वेगेन धनुर्भारसहं नवम् | शत्रुसूदन धृष्टद्युम्नने उस कटे हुए धनुषको फेंककर वेगपूर्वक दूसरा धनुष हाथमें ले लिया, जो भार सहनेमें समर्थ और नवीन था
anyad ādatta vegena dhanur-bhāra-sahaṃ navam |
সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে—কটা ধনুখন এৰি শত্রুসূদন ধৃষ্টদ্যুম্নে বেগে আন এটা ধনু হাতে ল’লে—সেয়া নতুন আৰু টান সহিব পৰা।
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights resilience and steadiness in duty: when a weapon is lost or broken, a warrior does not collapse into despair but promptly equips himself again and continues to act according to his role and responsibility.
In the midst of battle, Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s bow has been cut. He throws it away and immediately, with great speed, takes up a new bow strong enough to withstand the strain, preparing to continue fighting.
