The verse highlights how moral force and exceptional skill can transform the battlefield psychologically: when a warrior acts with unwavering purpose, opponents may lose clarity and courage, projecting the hero’s presence everywhere. It underscores that in war, perception and morale can be as decisive as weapons.
Sanjaya reports to Dhritarashtra that the Kaurava warriors, overwhelmed by Arjuna’s onslaught, keep shouting ‘This is Arjuna—where is Arjuna?’ Their confusion and fear make it seem as though the entire field is filled with Arjuna’s presence.
