वध्यतां राजपुत्राणां क्रन्दतामितरेतरम् । प्रादुरासीन्महाशब्दो भीरूणां भयवर्धन:,बाणोंकी चोट खाकर परस्पर क्रन्दन करते हुए राजकुमारोंका महान् शब्द सुनायी पड़ता था, जो कायरोंका भय बढ़ानेवाला था
vadhyatāṁ rājaputrāṇāṁ krandatām itaretaram | prādurāsīn mahāśabdo bhīrūṇāṁ bhayavardhanaḥ ||
সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে—বাণাঘাতত পীড়িত হৈ ৰাজপুত্ৰসকল বধ হ’বলৈ ধৰিলে আৰু পৰস্পৰক মাতি আৰ্তনাদ কৰিলে; তেতিয়া ভীৰুসকলৰ ভয় বঢ়োৱা এক মহাশব্দ উদ্ভৱ হ’ল।
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports that princes, struck down in combat, are crying to one another; their mutual lamentation and the chaos of slaughter produce a massive uproar that spreads panic among those who are afraid.
