अभ्यस्तो बहुभिर्बाणर्दशधर्मगतेन वै । “मैंने पुत्रशोकसे संतप्त, बाणोंद्वारा पीड़ित तथा भारी दुरवस्थाको प्राप्त होकर बहुसंख्यक बाणोंद्वारा उन्हें अनेक बार चोट पहुँचायी है
abhyasto bahubhir bāṇair daśa-dharma-gatena vai |
বহু বাণেৰে তেওঁ পুনঃপুন আঘাতপ্ৰাপ্ত হৈ ভয়ংকৰ দুৰৱস্থালৈ ঠেলি দিয়া হ’ল। তেতিয়া পুত্ৰশোকৰ অগ্নিত দগ্ধ, বাণপীড়াত ব্যাকুল হৈ, যুদ্ধধৰ্মৰ কঠোৰ বাধ্যতাত তেওঁও অসংখ্য শৰেৰে তাক পুনঃপুন আঘাত কৰিলে।
