तांस्तु भीतान् समालक्ष्य भीमसेनं च मूर्च्छितम्
tāṁstu bhītān samālakṣya bhīmasenaṁ ca mūrcchitam
সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে—তেওঁলোকক ভীত আৰু ভীমসেনকো অচেতন হৈ পৰি থকা দেখি, যুদ্ধৰ কোলাহলত হঠাৎ সাহসৰ পতন দেখা গ’ল; ই সোঁৱৰাই দিয়ে যে শক্তিশালী বীৰো কেতিয়াবা হিংসা আৰু আঘাতৰ তীব্ৰতাত অভিভূত হয়।
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the fragility of human composure in war: fear can seize groups, and even renowned heroes may lose consciousness. It implicitly cautions that martial prowess does not erase the ethical and psychological costs of violence.
Sañjaya reports that he observed people (a group present in the scene) in a state of fear, and also saw Bhīmasena lying in a swoon/unconscious condition, indicating a sudden, alarming turn in the battle situation.
