नाश्रौष॑ नामगोत्राणि कीर्तन च परस्परम् | कानोंका परदा फाड़नेवाले डंकेकी आवाजसे सारी रणभूमि गूँज उठी थी। अतः वहाँ अपने पुरुषार्थको प्रकट करनेवाले किसी योद्धाकी बात मुझे नहीं सुनायी देती थी। वे लोग जो आपसमें नाम-गोत्र आदिका परिचय देते थे, उसे भी मैं नहीं सुन पाता था

মই তাত পৰস্পৰে নাম-গোত্ৰ উচ্চাৰণ বা একে অন্যক মাতি কোৱা শুনিবলৈ নাপালোঁ। কৰ্ণবিদাৰক দুন্দুভিৰ নাদে সমগ্ৰ ৰণভূমি গুঞ্জৰি উঠিছিল; সেয়ে বীৰ্য প্ৰকাশ কৰিবলৈ যোদ্ধাসকলে কৰা স্বঘোষণাও মোৰ কাণত স্পষ্টকৈ নপৰিল, আৰু যিসকলে পৰস্পৰে নাম-গোত্ৰৰ পৰিচয় দিছিল, সেয়াও মই শুনিব নোৱাৰিলোঁ।
