তাৰ পাছত এই ঘটনা বয়োজ্যেষ্ঠসকলৰ পৰা গোপন ৰাখিবলৈ মই অন্তঃপুৰতে থাকিলোঁ। আৰু গোপনে যেতিয়া শিশুটি জন্মিল, তেতিয়া মই তাক পানীত ভাসাই দিলোঁ। সেই শিশুটিয়েই আছিল মোৰ পুত্ৰ কৰ্ণ।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
