Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
सा वल्विना वार्यमाणा देवैरपि सरिद्वरा । समुत्ससर्ज तं॑ गर्भ मेरौ गिरिवरे तदा,देवताओं तथा अग्निके मना करनेपर भी सरिताओंमें श्रेष्ठ गंगाने उस गर्भको गिरिराज मेरुके शिखरपर छोड़ दिया
sā valvinā vāryamāṇā devair api saridvarā | samutsasarja taṁ garbhaṁ merau girivare tadā ||
দেৱতাসকল আৰু বল্বিয়ে বাধা দিলেও, নদীসমূহৰ শ্ৰেষ্ঠা গঙ্গাই সেই গৰ্ভ ত্যাগ কৰিলে আৰু সেই সময়ত গিৰিৰাজ মেৰুত তাক স্থাপন কৰিলে।
