एता: पुरा हाददन्नित्यमेव शान्तात्मानो दानपथे निविष्टा: तपांस्युग्राण्यप्रतिशड्कमाना- स्ते वै दान॑ प्रददुश्चैव शक्‍त्या

Transliteration

etāḥ purā hādadann nityam eva śāntātmano dānapathe niviṣṭāḥ | tapāṁsy ugrāṇy apratiśaṅkamānās te vai dānaṁ pradaduś caiva śaktyā ||

Translation

পূৰ্বকালত শান্তচিত্ত পুৰুষসকলে দানপথত স্থিত হৈ নিত্যই এই গাভীবোৰ দান কৰিছিল। তেওঁলোকে কঠোৰ তপস্যাত ৰত থাকিলেও তাত কোনো সংশয় নধৰি, নিজৰ সামৰ্থ্য অনুসাৰে দান অব্যাহত ৰাখিছিল।
