Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)
शौचं कृत्वा यथान्यायं प्राज्जलि: प्रयतो नृप: । आत्मानमाचचक्षे च च्यवनाय महात्मने,उन्होंने पवित्रभावसे हाथ जोड़कर मनको एकाग्र रखते हुए न््यायोचित रीतिसे महात्मा च्यवनको अपना परिचय दिया
śaucaṃ kṛtvā yathānyāyaṃ prāñjaliḥ prayato nṛpaḥ | ātmānam ācacakṣe ca cyavanāya mahātmane ||
যথানিয়মে শৌচ সম্পন্ন কৰি, কৰযোৰে আৰু সংযতচিত্তে সেই নৃপতিয়ে মহাত্মা চ্যৱনৰ ওচৰত নিজৰ পৰিচয় দিলে।
भीष्म उवाच
Proper conduct (dharma) is shown through śauca (purity), self-restraint, and respectful humility—approaching the wise with joined hands and disciplined attention before speaking or acting.
A king, after performing the appropriate purification rites, approaches the sage Cyavana with reverence and formally identifies himself, establishing a respectful and rule-bound setting for the ensuing instruction or interaction.
