Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
वैशम्पायन उवाच एवमुक्त्वा तु भगवान् गुणांस्तस्य महात्मन: । उपस्पृश्य शुचिर्भूत्वा कथयामास धीमत:
vaiśampāyana uvāca evam uktvā tu bhagavān guṇāṁs tasya mahātmanaḥ | upaspṛśya śucir bhūtvā kathayāmāsa dhīmataḥ ||
বৈশম্পায়নে ক’লে—জনমেজয়! এইদৰে কৈ ভগৱান শ্ৰীকৃষ্ণে আচমন কৰি শুচি হৈ সেই মহাত্মাৰ গুণ বৰ্ণনা আৰম্ভ কৰিলে। তাৰ পিছত তেওঁ বিবেকসম্পন্ন হৈ পৰমেশ্বৰ শিৱৰ মহিমা আৰু উৎকৰ্ষসমূহ শ্ৰদ্ধাৰে বিৱৃত কৰিলে।
