धौग्य उवाच भिन्नभाण्डं च खट्वां च कुक्कुटं शुनकं॑ तथा । अप्रशस्तानि सर्वाणि यश्न वृक्षो गृहेरुह:

Transliteration

Dhaumya uvāca: bhinnabhāṇḍaṃ ca khaṭvāṃ ca kukkuṭaṃ śunakaṃ tathā | apraśastāni sarvāṇi yaś ca vṛkṣo gṛheruhaḥ ||

Translation

ধৌম্য ক’লে—ভঙা পাত্ৰ, ভঙা খাট, মুৰ্গী/মোৰগ, কুকুৰ আৰু ঘৰৰ ভিতৰত গজি উঠা যিকোনো গছ—এই সকলোকে অশুভ বুলি গণ্য কৰা হয়। সুসংযত গৃহস্থধৰ্মত এইবোৰ পৰিহাৰ কৰাই শ্ৰেয়।
