विनतोवाच दासी भूतास्मि दुर्योगात् सपत्न्या: पतगोत्तम | पणं वितथमास्थाय सर्पैरुपधिना कृतम्,विनता बोली--बेटा पक्षिराज! मैं दुर्भाग्यवश सौतकी दासी हूँ, इन सर्पोने छल करके मेरी जीती हुई बाजीको पलट दिया था
Vinatovāca dāsī bhūtāsmi duryogāt sapatnyāḥ patagottama | paṇaṁ vitatham āsthāya sarpair upadhinā kṛtam ||
বিনতাই ক’লে—“হে পক্ষিশ্ৰেষ্ঠ! দুর্ভাগ্যবশত মই মোৰ সতীনৰ দাসী হৈ পৰিছোঁ। সৰ্পসকলে কপট উপায়ে পণক মিছা কৰি দিলে; যি জয় মোৰ আছিল তাক উলটাই দিলে।”
