गन्धर्व उवाच संयोगो वै प्रीतिकरो महत्सु प्रतिदृश्यते । जीवितस्य प्रदानेन प्रीतो विद्यां ददामि ते,गन्धर्व बोला--महापुरुषोंके साथ जो समागम होता है, वह प्रीतिको बढ़ानेवाला होता है--ऐसा देखनेमें आता है। आपने मुझे जीवनदान दिया है, इससे प्रसन्न होकर मैं आपको चाक्षुषी विद्या भेंट करता हूँ

Transliteration

gandharva uvāca saṃyogo vai prītikaro mahatsu pratidṛśyate | jīvitasya pradānena prīto vidyāṃ dadāmi te ||

Translation

গন্ধৰ্বে ক’লে—মহাপুৰুষৰ সৈতে সংযোগে প্ৰীতি বৃদ্ধি কৰে বুলি দেখা যায়। তুমি মোক জীৱনদান দিছা; সেয়ে প্ৰসন্ন হৈ মই তোমাক ‘চাক্ষুষী বিদ্যা’ দিছোঁ।
