FAQs

It emphasizes that Śiva (Bhava) is truly ‘seen’ through bhakti, and that the practice and meaning of worship are safeguarded by bhāvārtha—an inner purport transmitted through an authorized guru-lineage.

Śiva is presented as Bhava, the accessible Pati (Lord) who grants darśana not merely through ritual formality but through devotional alignment; the ‘inner meaning’ indicates that Śiva-tattva is grasped by realized insight, not only by external acts.

The verse foregrounds bhakti as the operative discipline and points to initiatory transmission (upadeśa) of bhāvārtha—consistent with Pāśupata-oriented practice where inner realization guides outer pūjā and loosens pāśa (bondage) upon the paśu (soul).
