FAQs

This verse frames the year as six two-month seasons and links right diet and warming practices to dharmic living—maintaining bodily balance so one can properly perform duties.

Indirectly: by prescribing disciplined living, it supports purity and steadiness (sattva) that the text treats as favorable for spiritual progress and right conduct.

Follow season-appropriate routines—especially warmth and suitable nourishing foods in colder periods—while keeping moderation and consistency.
