तदैवोपागतं देवं वीक्ष्य विस्मितमानसा । प्रत्ययार्थं प्रयुक्ता मे याहि देव क्षमस्व मे ॥ ३३ ॥
tadaivopāgataṁ devaṁ vīkṣya vismita-mānasā pratyayārthaṁ prayuktā me yāhi deva kṣamasva me
কুন্তীয়ে সূৰ্যদেৱক আহ্বান কৰামাত্ৰেই তেওঁ তৎক্ষণাৎ উপস্থিত হ’ল; তাক দেখি তাই বিস্মিত হৈ পৰিল। তাই ক’লে, “মই কেৱল এই বিদ্যাৰ ফলপ্ৰসূতা পৰীক্ষা কৰিছিলোঁ। হে দেৱ, অকাৰণে আপোনাক মাতিলোঁ; অনুগ্ৰহ কৰি উভতি যাওক আৰু মোক ক্ষমা কৰক।”

This verse shows a devotee’s humility—after realizing the Lord’s presence, she admits her words were meant only to confirm the truth and sincerely asks the Lord to forgive her.
Overwhelmed and repentant, she acknowledges she tested Him for certainty (pratyaya) and then, feeling unworthy or embarrassed, requests Him to depart while begging forgiveness.
