It shows that the Yadus are 'Krishna’s own,' and in their crisis Akrura urgently equips Krishna with His chariot and beloved weapons—implying Krishna’s active protection of His devotees and dynasty.
Because a calamity had arisen for the Yadus, and Akrura appeals to Krishna to respond immediately; bringing the chariot and weapons is practical service and an urgent invitation for Krishna to act.
Like Akrura, one can respond to difficulty by turning to the Lord with humility and readiness to serve—offering one’s resources and effort in devotion rather than panic or despair.
