न वा उ सोमो वृजिनं हिनोति न क्षत्रियं मिथुया धारयन्तम्। हन्ति रक्षो हन्त्यासद् वदन्तमुभाविन्द्रस्य प्रसितौ शयाते

IAST Transliteration

ná vā u sómo vr̥jináṃ hinoti ná kṣatríyaṃ mithuyā́ dhāráyantam | hánti rákṣo hánty ásád vádantam ubhā́v índrasya prásitau śayāte ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Soma, in sooth, impelleth none to crooked sin, nor yet the Kṣatriya who falsely holds his plea. He smiteth down the Rakṣas, smiteth him who speaketh Untruth: both lie beneath the constraint, the cast-bond, of Indra.

Translation

সোমে কাকো বেঁকা পাপলৈ নাঠেলে; মিছাকৈ নিজৰ দাবী ধৰি ৰখা ক্ষত্ৰিয়কো নাঠেলে। সি ৰক্ষসক মাৰে, অসত্য কোৱা মানুহকো মাৰে; দুয়ো ইন্দ্ৰৰ প্ৰসিতি—বন্ধন/নিয়ন্ত্ৰণ—তলত পৰি থাকে।
