Sukta 2
आ रोह चर्मोप सीदाग्निमेष देवो हन्ति रक्षांसि सर्वा । इह प्रजां जनय पत्ये अस्मै सुज्यैष्ठ्यो भवत् पुत्रस्त एषः
ā́ roha cárma úpa sīda agním eṣá devó hánti rákṣāṃsi sárvā | ihá prajā́ṃ janaya pátye asmái sujyaíṣṭhyo bhavat putrás ta eṣáḥ ||
Ascend the hide; sit thee down hard by the Fire. This God smiteth all the Rakshases. Here beget thou offspring for this thy lord: may there be good pre-eminence; this shall be thy son.
চামৰাত আৰোহণ কৰা; অগ্নিৰ কাষতে বহা। এই দেৱতাই সকলো ৰাক্ষসক আঘাত কৰি নাশ কৰে। ইয়াত এই তোমাৰ স্বামীৰ বাবে সন্তান-সন্ততি জনোৱা; শুভ জ্যেষ্ঠতা (উৎকৃষ্ট প্ৰাধান্য) হওক—এইজনেই তোমাৰ পুত্ৰ হ’ব।
