Expiations for Ritual and Temporal Offences in Worship, and the Prescribed Purificatory Procedure

Upaspṛśya

मूर्खो भवति सुश्रोणि मम कर्मपरायणः ॥ प्रायश्चित्तविधिं देवि येन मुच्येत किल्बिषात् ॥

mūrkho bhavati suśroṇi mama karmaparāyaṇaḥ || prāyaścittavidhiṃ devi yena mucyeta kilbiṣāt ||

«يصير أحمقَ، يا ذات الخصر الجميل، وإن كان مواظبًا على شعائري؛ فبيّني، أيتها الإلهة، طريقة الكفّارة التي بها يُعتَق من الإثم.»
