वृथाटनं था दानं वृथा च पशुमारणम् न कर्त्तव्यं गृहस्थेन वृता दारपरिग्रहम्
vṛthāṭanaṃ thā dānaṃ vṛthā ca paśumāraṇam na karttavyaṃ gṛhasthena vṛtā dāraparigraham
لا ينبغي لربّ البيت أن يطوف بلا غاية، ولا أن يتصدّق صدقةً عبثية، ولا أن يقتل الحيوان بغير سبب. وكذلك لا ينبغي أن يتخذ زوجةً (ويدخل حياة الأسرة) على وجهٍ هازلٍ أو غير متروٍّ.

Dharma values intentionality: charity should be discerning, travel should be purposeful, and violence is condemned when unnecessary. Marriage/household formation is framed as a serious dharmic commitment, not a casual act.
