Karmic Causes of Narakas and the Irremediability of Ingratitude (Kṛtaghna-doṣa)

The verse promotes dharma through recognized authorities (Purāṇa, Saṃhitā, Smṛti) and highlights charitable giving at calendrically potent junctions (viṣuvas) as a peak expression of dharma.
Primarily dharma-oriented instruction and śāstra-taxonomy; indirectly supports vaṃśānucarita and manvantara-dharma traditions by citing Manu and Svāyambhuva.
A ‘best-of’ chain links textual authority to time-sacrality: right knowledge (śāstra) and right timing (tithi/viṣuvas) culminate in right action (dāna), presenting dharma as integrated cognition, calendar, and conduct.
