tato 'pi kampate pṛthvī sābdhidvīpācalā mune tato 'bhicintayadrudraḥ kimarthaṃ kṣubhitā mahī

ومع ذلك كانت الأرض ترتجف—ببحارها وجزرها وجبالها، أيها الحكيم. عندئذٍ تفكّر رودرا: «لأي سبب اضطربت الأرض؟»
