शङ्करस्य वचः श्रुत्वा शैवाद्या प्रमथोत्तमाः प्रत्यूचुर्भगवन् ब्रूहि सदाशिवविशेणम्

śaṅkarasya vacaḥ śrutvā śaivādyā pramathottamāḥ pratyūcurbhagavan brūhi sadāśivaviśeṇam

فلما سمع أعيانُ البرَمَثَة (Pramatha)—وفي مقدّمتهم الشَّيْفِيّة (Śaiva)—كلامَ شَنْكَرَة (Śaṅkara)، أجابوا: «يا ربّ، حدّثنا عن المزيّة الفارقة والخاصّة المميّزة لسَدَاشِيفا (Sadāśiva).»
