नाज्ञासीच्च पिता पुत्रं न पुत्रः पितरं तथा स्वानेवानये निजघ्नुर्वै परानन्ये च सुव्रत
nājñāsīcca pitā putraṃ na putraḥ pitaraṃ tathā svānevānaye nijaghnurvai parānanye ca suvrata
في ذلك الاضطراب لم يعرف الأبُ ابنَه، ولا الابنُ أباه كذلك. فقومٌ من شدة الخطأ قتلوا حتى أهلَهم، وآخرون (إذ التبس عليهم الأمر) قتلوا من ليسوا أعداءهم—يا سُوْفْرَتَ.
