Yagyavalkya

जातस्य ग्रहरोगादि कुमारस्य च धूर्तता । उपनीतेऽप्यविद्यत्वमनुद्वाहश्च पण्डिते ॥२५॥

जातस्य । ग्रह-रोग-आदि । कुमारस्य । च । धूर्तता । उपनीते । अपि । अविद्यत्वम् । अनुद्वाहः । च । पण्डिते ॥२५॥

jātasya graharogādi kumārasya ca dhūrtatā | upanīte 'py avidyatvam anudvāhaś ca paṇḍite ||25||

لِمَن وُلِدَ آفاتٌ كالتأثيراتِ الكوكبيّةِ والعللِ؛ ولِلصبيِّ كذلك مكرٌ وطيشٌ. وحتى بعدَ الإدخالِ في السلوكِ (الأوبانايانا) تبقى غشاوةُ الجهل؛ وللعالِمِ أيضًا قد يقعُ تركُ الزواج.

For one who is born, there are afflictions such as seizure/planetary influences and disease; for a boy, there is also roguishness. Even when initiated (upanīta), there is ignorance; and for a learned man, there is non-marriage as well.
