वेदशास्त्राणि चान्यानि पदपांसुमिव त्यजेत् । गुरुभक्तिं सदा कुर्याच्छ्रेयसे भूयसे नरः ॥

Padapatha (Word Split)

वेद-शास्त्राणि । च । अन्यानि । पद-पांसुम्-इव । त्यजेत् । गुरु-भक्तिम् । सदा । कुर्यात् । श्रेयसे । भूयसे । नरः ॥

IAST Transliteration

vedaśāstrāṇi cānyāni padapāṃsum iva tyajet | gurubhaktiṃ sadā kuryāc chreyase bhūyase naraḥ ||

Translation

وليطرح الفيدات وسائر الشاسترات كغبارٍ على الأقدام. وليداوم الإنسان على محبة الغورو وولائه طلبًا للخَيْر الأسمى والخير الأوفى.

Academic Translation

And one should set aside the Vedas and other treatises like dust on the feet; the man should always practice devotion to the guru for the sake of the highest good and the greater (good).
