Atma Upanishad 8 — Verse 8

tadvat brahmavido’py asya brahmāham iti vedanam | bhānuneva jagat sarvaṃ bhāsyate yasya tejasā ||8||

So too, for the knower of Brahman, this knowledge—“I am Brahman”—(is independent/immediate). Like (the world) by the sun, the entire universe is illumined by whose radiance.

Aham Brahmāsmi; consciousness as self-luminous (svayaṃ-prakāśa) and illuminator of all experienceMahavakya: Directly aligns with ‘Aham Brahmāsmi’ (Bṛhadāraṇyaka) and supports the doctrine of consciousness as the illuminator of all objects.AtharvaChandas: Anuṣṭubh (śloka)
