vyāsa uvāca | atyāścaryyamayīṃ brahmankathāmetāṃ tapodhana | uktavānasi yenaitatsāścaryyaṃ mama mānasam

قال ڤياسا: يا براهمن، يا كنز الزهد والتقشّف، لقد رويتَ هذه الحكاية البالغة العجب، فامتلأ قلبي دهشةً وإعجابًا.
