तद्दृष्ट्वा महदाश्चर्यं मया च द्विजपुंगव । श्रद्धया परया तत्र कृतं स्नानं विशेषतः
taddṛṣṭvā mahadāścaryaṃ mayā ca dvijapuṃgava | śraddhayā parayā tatra kṛtaṃ snānaṃ viśeṣataḥ
فلما رأيتُ تلك الأعجوبة العظمى، يا أكرمَ البراهمة، اغتسلتُ أنا أيضًا هناك بإيمانٍ أسمى، ولا سيما مع التزامٍ خاصٍّ بالنسك.
Brahmā (deduced; Vaiṣṇavakhaṇḍa Ayodhyāmāhātmya dialogic style)
Tirtha: Pāpamocana Tīrtha
Type: ghat
Listener: Addressed as 'dvijapuṅgava' (foremost of brāhmaṇas).
Scene: The narrator-figure (a brāhmaṇa) watches the flower-shower and vimāna ascent, then steps into the tīrtha waters with folded hands, eyes closed in śraddhā.
Faith (śraddhā) deepens the fruit of tīrtha practices; witnessing sacred power inspires stronger observance.
The ‘there’ refers to the Pāpamocana Tīrtha in Ayodhyā described in the surrounding verses.
Snāna performed with parā-śraddhā (supreme faith), and undertaken viśeṣataḥ (as a special observance).
