अगस्त्य उवाच । विष्णुशर्मेति विख्यातः पुराभूद्ब्राह्मणोत्तमः । वेदवेदांगतत्त्वज्ञो धर्मकर्मसमाश्रितः
agastya uvāca | viṣṇuśarmeti vikhyātaḥ purābhūdbrāhmaṇottamaḥ | vedavedāṃgatattvajño dharmakarmasamāśritaḥ
قال أغاستيا: كان في الزمن القديم برهمنٌ فاضلٌ مشهورٌ باسم «فيشنوشَرْمَن» (Viṣṇuśarman). كان عارفًا بحقائق الفيدا وملحقاتها (فيدأنغا)، راسخًا في واجبات الدارما وفي السلوك المقدّس.
