Skanda (deduced from Dvārakā Māhātmya narrative style)
Tirtha: Gomatī–samudra-saṅgama (Dvārakā)
Type: sangam
Scene: On the sandy bank at the confluence, a householder offers piṇḍa and water-libations, while attendants distribute alms to brāhmaṇas and the poor; the river meets the sea behind them, with ritual vessels, darbha grass, and a calm devotional atmosphere.
Rituals done at an exalted tīrtha gain extraordinary potency, culminating in liberation.
The Gomati-saṅgama—the sacred meeting-place of the river Gomati (in the Dvārakā region).
Performing śrāddha (ancestral rite) and dāna (charitable giving) at the Gomati confluence.
