एवमुक्त्वा द्विजश्रेष्ठो गोमतीतीरमाश्रितः । उपस्पृश्य यथान्यायं शास्त्रदृष्टेन कर्मणा
evamuktvā dvijaśreṣṭho gomatītīramāśritaḥ | upaspṛśya yathānyāyaṃ śāstradṛṣṭena karmaṇā
وبعد أن قال ذلك، مضى أفضلُ ذوي الميلادين إلى ضفة نهر غوماتي، ثم تطهّر على الوجه المشروع، مؤدّياً فعلَ التطهير المقرّر (كالآچمانا ونحوها) كما تقضي به الشاسترا.
