praṇamya somanāthaṃ tu yātrāṃ kṛtvā na gacchati | kṛṣṇasya darśanārthāya tasya kiṃ jāyate phalam
Narrative instructor within Dvārakā-māhātmya
Tirtha: Somnātha (Prabhāsa) and Dvārakā (Kṛṣṇa-kṣetra)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A pilgrim bows before Somnātha’s liṅga at the seashore; a road/path leads onward with a distant vision of Dvārakā’s spires, suggesting the unfinished journey toward Kṛṣṇa.
Pilgrimage is meant to culminate in transformative darśana; incomplete yātrā is portrayed as spiritually deficient.
Somanātha at Prabhāsa and the onward journey to Dvārakā for Kṛṣṇa-darśana.
A yātrā pattern: bow at Somanātha and proceed to Dvārakā for Kṛṣṇa’s
