Transliteration

nidhāya vāsasī tatra mṛdamālabhya gomayam | śikhāṃ ca baddhvā karayoḥ kṛtvā ca niyataḥ kuśān

Translation

هناك وضع ثيابه جانباً، وأخذ تراباً وروثَ بقرةٍ للتطهير الطقسي. ثم ربط شِخاه (śikhā)، وبانضباطٍ هيّأ عشب الكوشا (kuśa) في يديه لإقامة الشعيرة.
