sthāpayāmāsa deveśo liṃgamapratimaujasam | tasminsnātvā ca labhate yasmādindrapadaṃ naraḥ
أقام ربُّ الآلهة لِنگَمًا ذا قوّةٍ لا مثيل لها. ومن اغتسل هناك نال مقامَ إندرا؛ ولذا سُمّي ذلك الموضع «إندراپادا».
Prahlāda (continuing narration)
Tirtha: Indrapada (snāna-tīrtha) / Indreśvara (liṅga)
Type: ghat
Scene: Indra, radiant and regal, installs a powerful liṅga beside a gleaming sacred tank; pilgrims bathe at the steps, then approach the liṅga with offerings; the air feels charged with divine potency.
Snāna at a divinely founded tīrtha and reverence to the liṅga are said to elevate one toward heavenly merit and divine status.
Indrapada tīrtha associated with an exceptionally potent Śiva-liṅga (later known as Indreśvara).
Tīrtha-snāna (bathing) at that place, in connection with the liṅga established by Indra.
