Transliteration

yathā daṃṣṭrācyutaḥ sarpo nāgo vā madavarjitaḥ | ājñāhīnastathā rājā mānavaiḥ paribhūyate

Translation

كما تُزدرى الحيّةُ إذا سُلبت أنيابَها، أو يُستهان بالفيل إذا حُرم سَوْرَته، كذلك الملكُ إذا خلا من السلطان تُهينه الناس.
