devyuvāca | parituṣṭāsmi te vatsa vratenānena nityathaḥ | balipūjāvidhānena vihitenāmunā svayam
Caṇḍikā (Devī)
Type: kshetra
Scene: The Goddess, radiant and maternal, appears or speaks from the icon; the king stands with folded hands; offerings and bali arrangement are visible; the moment is intimate and awe-filled.
When worship is performed according to dharma—steadily and as prescribed—the Goddess becomes openly pleased and grants boons.
The dialogue arises from worship conducted in the Hāṭakeśvara–Caṇḍikā kṣetra praised in this adhyāya.
Observance of a vrata along with bali (ritual offering) and pūjā according to an established vidhi.
