न तस्याः सदृशः कांतः प्राप्तस्तेन महात्मना । यतस्ततोऽहमादिष्टः कांतमस्यास्त्वमानय । अनुरूपं द्विजश्रेष्ठ यद्यहं संमतस्तव

إنّ ذلك الرجل العظيم النفس لم يجد زوجًا يساويها ويليق بها. فلذلك أُمِرتُ: «ائتِ لِهذه الفتاة بزوجٍ—مَن يكون كفؤًا لها، يا أفضلَ البراهمة—إن كنتَ تُقدِّر طلبي».
