«تظنّ أنك تعلم هذا، مع أنّ شانكرا (Śaṅkara) نفسه لم يستكشف بعدُ شبكة الأفعال (الكَرْما). وحتى في العوالم الثلاثة أمورٌ خفيّةٌ عنّي—فكيف لي أن أعلم كلَّ شيء، يا فيدهاطر (Vidhātṛ)؟ كلُّ ما في العوالم الثلاثة، متحرّكًا كان أو ساكنًا، فأنا قائمٌ في وسطه، كزيتٍ مستترٍ في حبّة السمسم، يا مغترّ.»
