śuklāṣṭamyāṃ sadā bhaktyā sa tasyāḥ śraddhayānvitaḥ | aṣṭottaraśataṃ yāvatpracakāra pradakṣiṇām

Translation

في كل يوم أَشْتَمِي (Aṣṭamī) من النصف المضيء من الشهر، كان يأتي بعبادةٍ خالصة وإيمانٍ راسخ، ويؤدي الطواف التعبّدي (برَدَكْشِنا) حول الإلهة حتى يُتمَّ مئةً وثماني دورات.
