एवं प्रलप्य मनसा संप्राप्ता तत्र यत्र सः । आस्ते विस्फूर्जितास्यश्च तीक्ष्णदंष्ट्रो भयावहः
evaṃ pralapya manasā saṃprāptā tatra yatra saḥ | āste visphūrjitāsyaśca tīkṣṇadaṃṣṭro bhayāvahaḥ
وهكذا، وهي تندب في سرّ قلبها، بلغت الموضع الذي كان فيه. فإذا به قائم هناك—فمه فاغر يرتجف، أنيابه حادّة، منظره مُرعب.
